Friday
Book in at The George Hotel where you will be staying.
Intro and Brewery Tour
Beer tasting and live music at the Zululand Brewery Co. Pub followed by a braai at the pool.
Saturday
8am: Breakfast on the Dlinza Forest Boardwalk
Guided fishing all day
5pm: Sundowners with the Wandering Keg on Signal Hill
8pm: Curry at the George Hotel followed by more beer tasting.
Sunday
8am: Full English Breakfast

12pm-6pm: Prawn Braai at the Amatikulu Prawn Shack (Optional extra R140)
Price includes: Bass and Beer T-Shirts, Beer on Tap while you fish as well as Professional Bass fishing guides who have been fishing, stocking and maintaining the dams in this area for over 20 years. You will have a choice of fishing on 8 privately owned dams and those with boats can hit Lake Phobane.

The other option for persons who would like to fish on Lake Phobane only there is great accommodation at The George Hotel – call 035 474 4919 to book a room TODAY. Secure parking for boats and trailers is available.
Directions
Eshowe is on the R66 more or less 20km inland between Durban and Richard's bay. Go north up the N2 passed the Stanger and Mandini off ramps. Take the Dokodweni Toll plaza turnoff after bridge number 11 and Eshowe is 20 minutes up the hill. Once you are in town just follow the signs to The George Hotel.
From Gauteng: Standerton R23, Volksrust R23, from Volksrust take the N11 and then turn left onto the R34 before you get to Newcastle, Vryheid R34, Ulundi R34, Melmoth R34, Eshowe R66, follow signs to The George Hotel Eshowe.
Distance from Durban to Eshowe – 136 km (1h30min)
Distance from Johannesburg to Eshowe – 600km (5/6hrs)
Distance from Richards Bay to Eshowe – 87km (1hr)
Beer
On the beer front the price includes ALL THE BEER YOU CAN DRINK FROM OUR BREWERY. The Wandering Keg will also be hot on your tail on Saturday around the course with plenty of beer on tap for you to enjoy.
Prawn Braai
The Prawn Shack is 20 km down the R66 towards Durban. Please check out their website and book well in advance. www.prawnshack.co.za
Food
All food will be served at The George except your halfway house lunch at the Eshowe Golf Club. For large groups a spit braai can be arranged.
Please notify us if you have any vegetarians in your group so that we can cater for them specifically.
